Position Goal

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the assembly, testing, and quality control of neatMon's monitoring devices. This role ensures efficient production workflows, maintains high product quality, and manages inventory and shipping logistics. The Production Manager will lead a small team, optimize production processes, and support company growth by ensuring timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management:

Supervise and coordinate the assembly, soldering, and testing of monitoring devices.

Develop and implement efficient production workflows.

Ensure compliance with assembly documentation and test procedures.

Identify and troubleshoot production issues, improving processes as needed.

Quality Control & Assurance:

Oversee quality checks on all assembled products.

Ensure adherence to established performance and safety standards.

Identify areas for improvement and implement quality control measures.

Inventory & Logistics:

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reorders to prevent shortages.

Maintain an organized production workspace and inventory system.

Oversee packaging and shipping processes to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

Team Leadership & Communication:

Train, mentor, and supervise production staff, ensuring adherence to processes.

Foster a collaborative work environment focused on efficiency and quality.

Communicate production updates and challenges to upper management.

Experience & Qualifications:

3+ years of management experience in a production, manufacturing, or electronics assembly environment.

Strong understanding of PCB assembly, soldering, and cable manufacturing.

Experience managing inventory and coordinating shipping logistics.

Proven ability to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

Ability to read and follow technical schematics and assembly documentation.

Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $25 per hour (DOE)

Work Environment: Onsite in Redding, CA; smoke- and drug-free office.
