Technical /Assistant Designer

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Designer to join our creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, production, marketing) to align products with brand aesthetic, quality, and timelines.

Research trends, source materials, assist with fittings, create tech packs, and communicate with vendors.

Contribute to design concepts, sketches, technical drawings, and specifications.

Stay updated on industry trends and technologies relevant to Jasmine Elaine.

Source materials and trims, participate in fittings, and document design projects.

Prepare presentations and communicate design ideas.

Support the Design Director with ideation, sketching, and development.

Assist with launching, tracking, and documenting materials, styles, and prototypes.

Adhere to design calendar deadlines and support various tasks and meetings.

Collaborate company-wide and assist with shipping, printing, and special projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in fashion design.

Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to apply them.

Knowledge of fabrication and trims.

Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.

Ability to adapt to feedback and make necessary revisions to designs.

Digital technical sketching, textile Design, themes development/ collection Story Telling

Experience with trend research, trend forecasting

Knowledge of color theory and garment construction.

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Proficient CAD skills.

Proficient in developing Tech Packs
