Job Description The Architect on the Technology Applications team will be responsible for the design and realization of multicomponent solutions in a diverse enterprise ecosystem. This position will work closely with product managers and engineers to create architecture plans for highly available, efficient and reliable systems. Act as a consultant to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementations. Provide training and mentoring to teammates. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring latitude for unreviewed action.Core Job ResponsibilitiesWorks with colleagues to provide technical leadership and planning for the implementation and transformation of solutions and services. Guides product teams on systems flexibility and constraints.
  • (5%) Set and maintain architectural standards, policies and frameworks that govern all aspects

  • architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution

Knowledge & Skills
  • Expert in data architecture and technical leadership
  • Expert in providing technical leadership with first-hand experience of the concepts of Agile methodologies
  • and related methods, plus a working knowledge of data architecture
  • Proven experience in decomposing large complex problems into component parts, as well as having
  • the ability to provide and contribute at all levels across build, test, implementation and integration activities.
  • Strong understanding of SRE principles related to system uptime, error management, security maintenance
  • policies and application performance monitoring
  • Facilitation skills: the ability to facilitate executive workshops and obtain consensus
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing tools, especially Google Cloud Platform.
  • Specific understanding of the following Google Cloud Platform tools: Google Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud PubSub,
  • Composer/Airflow, Apigee, Cloud DataFusion, Cloud SQL, Memory Store and Cloud Storage
  • Lead setting up a data governance program; includes establishing a data governance framework, policy,

  • Hands on experience implementing or utilizing Terraform for cloud resource management
  • BI tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy)
  • Well versed in collaboration tools (Jira,
  • Confluence) and code maintenance in source control (Git preferred)

Education & Experience
  • 10+ years minimum experience working with related technology in an agile team environment
  • 5+ years experience in providing data architectural solutions that transform an organization
  • 5- years experience with management of compliance efforts (CCPA, PCI-DSS)
  • Must have experience in the following Google Cloud Platform technologies: BigQuery, Composer/Airflow,
  • SSIS, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Cloud DataFusion, Cloud SQL, Memory Store and Cloud Storage.
  • 3+ years Python
  • Architectural knowledge integrating with SOAP and REST services.

2) Sr Networking Engineer : 75/hr on C2C Please include each candidate’s LinkedIn profile per submission, as the manager has requested this be done.   • What are the top 3 Data Canter skills and ideal experience needed?
-Nexus platforms, BGP experience and Arista are must have’s.
  • Will there be any network/data or engineering certification required?
-CCNP or CCIE Certifications would be preferred, but not mandatory.
  • What are some persistent issues in the resumes, why hasn’t the manager picked a resume, what exactly is the manager looking for?
-The management team for the role are all saying that some candidates they’ve interviewed are obviously getting help during the interviews. They said that during the first 5 seconds after asking a question, the candidates have given the wrong answer, and then in the next 10 seconds, they give the correct answer with a puzzled look on their faces. -Candidates also seem unable to answer any basic questions about IP addresses (some of them will broadcast this in their resumes and not able to further explain). The same issue persists when it comes to interview questions regarding broadcast address.
  • How many rounds of interviews are there? Candidates are becoming off the market from waiting to hear back.
-There are 2 technical rounds of interviews, then the main hiring manager will interview them during the 3rd round. The first 2 interviews are video calls and the 3rd round interview should be in person, if the candidate is available.

-Most people were dishonest during the interviews and in their resumes.
  • Are you looking for Sr. Engineers or Sr. Architects?
-Sr. Network Engineer
  • Are lab certified people needed for this role, those who have done testing, or do they have to just have network engineering?
-If they have testing experience, then that’s a big plus if they know about testing procedures, but if they are willing to learn, that’s fine too. They typically just need network engineering experience.
