Lucid Motors is looking for an experienced EMC Compliance Engineer to join us on an our journey into the growing and exciting world of electric vehicles. Electric vehicles are the future of the automotive industry and presents many opportunities to use your knowledge and skills to create the foundation for the electric vehicle industry.

The Role:
  • You will be responsible for determining the relevant compliance standards and regulatory requirements for our vehicle and subsystems.
  • Work with our teams starting from vehicle concept to launch to ensure that our designs will meet the EMC compliance requirements.
  • Will need to work with our suppliers to define and deliver products that meet the compliance and regulatory requirements we have determined are needed.
  • Partner with external agencies and government regulatory authorities to influence policies and requirements to support our product roadmap and industry direction.
  • You will need to keep abreast of future changes to compliance and regulatory requirements and policies and keep the team updated on those changes.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of US and International compliance and regulatory regulations and standards.
  • Must have hands on experience for EMC, EMI and RF exposure testing.
  • LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC experience will be needed.
  • Experience with professional test lab requirements, equipment, processes and procedures.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience obtaining EMC certifications from global regulatory agencies.

Education
  • Bachelor or Science in a relevant technical discipline required.
