Technician

Location: Folsom, CA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technician We are looking for an electronics technician to support testing and debug of Optane SSD products

• Run drive level software analysis tools to pull logs and test various drive level components.
• Complete visual inspection to look for damaged components
• Probe drives with DMM to isolate failed components
• Remove and replace components as necessary
• Set up systems to run extended testing
• Create and maintain Excel Spreadsheets for logging debug results
• Submit sightings using Jira

• Basic hardware set up and configuration for testing Scopes, DMMs, various lab tools
• Candidates should possess all basic hand tools and be familiar with using test equipment to diagnose malfunctioning circuits to component level
• DMMs, cameras (optical and thermal), microscopes, etc.
• Surface mount soldering.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and layout in Cadence
• Familiar with building and maintaining PC systems. Vi. High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in electronics field.
