Permanent residents only.This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that will require occasional meetings onsite in Orange County, CA, and no relocation or travel reimbursements are available. Main Duties & Responsibilities:- Delivery of small to large scale technical and non-technical projects, including the detailed planning of projects and the creation and management of project plans, schedules, and status reports capturing key performance measurements.- Monitor project metrics including cost, schedule, and progress.- Resource capacity planning, forecasting, facilitating change control, issue, and risk identification/quantification.- Track and manage multiple priorities of software development projects in a matrix management environment.- Gain full knowledge of one or more systems and/or applications, assisting with system design and analysis, and performing pertinent testing to ensure business requirements or objectives have been met.- Strategize with project teams to identify and resolve issues, assess potential risks, and develop alternative plans.- Enforce Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborate as part of an agile development team to deliver projects in a fast-paced environment.- Lead Scrum Team of Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Engineers.- Organize and drive Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Retrospectives, Reviews, etc.- Effectively create, update, link, and/or track User Stories.- Collaborate with business partners to ensure that solutions are delivered as agreed upon in the product roadmap.- Collaborate with IT Operations to ensure hardware and software are aligned to deliver business requirements.- Complete and deliver status reports as required by upper management.- Ensure resources are regularly logging tasks to produce reports which provide the required visibility to the projects.- Audit team members time entries in TFS on weekly basis to ensure correct project PIDs are assigned for accurate financial reporting.- Build industry knowledge and develop understanding of business division’s organization and objectives.- Strong working knowledge of providing recommendations and priority setting among Product Management, Executive Leadership, Development, and Quality Assurance.Skills & Requirements:- 6+ years of experience working in a Project Manager, ScrumMaster, or similar capacity.- Industry certifications are preferred (CSM, CSPO, PMP, PMI, etc.).- Outstanding attention to detail and quality in producing results.- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with exceptional Excel, Project, and Visio skills (TFS/Azure DevOps highly preferred).- Outstanding organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.- Experience with strategic, tactical, and operational planning, tracking, and reporting.- Experience managing in a matrix organization, including interfacing with executive-level customers.- Bachelors Degree or higher in IS/IT, Business Admin, or related field is preferred. tags: senior technology project manager, senior project manager, senior scrummaster, senior scrum master, tpm, pmp, pmi, csm
