- Drive communication and coordination between US sales force and Tectum Agents & Employees to improve the team's ability to win projects.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers & stakeholders to drive excellence in Spec-Track-Close process related to assigned product categories (Tectum and Tectum Roof Deck).
- Drive specifications of Tectum product line through direct interaction with architectural community and through Tectum agent network
- Own tracking & follow up on Tectum opportunities with new construction and renovation projects in the Americas in assigned geography. Documents activity in CRM system as required.
- Grow the business by increasing market share, improving product mix, increasing average unit price, increasing unit volume, and closing major projects with Tectum.
- Function effectively as a member of a focused selling team to achieve individual, team and business objectives for Tectum and assigned product categories in Architectural Specialties.
- Manage & own opportunity leads to determine ownership of sales efforts, integrating sales teams' and agents' efforts for Tectum and exposed structure growth.
- Actively coordinates and drives ownership with Armstrong sales managers and management to assure alignment of job specification, tracking and closing activity.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, construction management, architecture/interior design or related field
- Five years of sales experience within the commercial construction industry
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Acute level of initiative to plan and schedule work from a home-office environment
- Proficiency with computer software and today's technology a must
- Success within the world of architectural selling and/or consulting
- Team player with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding goals
- Excellent communicator who thrives in a relationship-building environment
