Test & Commissioning Technician / Vehicle Inspector

JOB TITLE: Test & Commissioning Technician PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Execute test and commissioning activities on field in support to one or several Projects MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute testing activities in support to one or several Projects on railway signaling systems under the direction of his/her hierarchy and according to the testing procedure / documentation and following Subsystem T&C Engineer/Leader instructions

Ensure defects identified and corrected (trouble shooting

Check that the test tools are in perfect working order and calibrated.

Replace defective equipment and ensure its repair in accordance with the procedures in force.

In the event of a non-conformity observed during the commissioning phase, make a return experience (REX) towards the project, and ensure that all design related issues are correctly reported in the adequate tools, including the defect description and associated test context.

Deliver the committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs and Deadlines and in compliance with company policies, local standards and regulations (in particular EHS and Railway Safety)

Vehicle Inspection upon receipt of new vehicles

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT:

Efficiency and proactivity during the execution of the T&C tests

Compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards

Quality of anticipation, monitoring, and reporting

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Technical bachelor's degree in electronics or electricity or equivalent experience in a function in the industrial environment preferred

DESIRED: Previous T&C or Maintenance experience for Railway Signaling is an asset.
