Summary

The software test automation engineer will develop test infrastructure, test fixtures, and implement test scripts for the robotic system. He/she will collect and analyze data to verify, validate and measure software product quality and performance throughout the software development lifecycle. He/she will be responsible for writing test procedures, test reports, executing test plans and filing bugs. The candidate must be comfortable working with complex electro-mechanical systems, deploying new software releases and running test protocols on the systems. The candidate will work in close relationship with the software developers to integrate and improve test infrastructure in existing software solutions

Design and develop test automation system and test fixtures.

Design and implement automated tests for software and hardware components.

Improve test automation scripts and coverage.

Create test protocols and test reports for automated testing.

Implement and execute functional tests, unit tests, stress tests and performance tests.

Collect, analyze, track and report test results. Document and file bugs.

Participate in design discussions and code reviews.

Mentoring team on test automation
