Test Automation Engineer-100% Remote (US Based)

Position Description CGI is seeking Test Automation Engineers to join our team!

We you will be part of an exciting, multi-year project entailing the design, development, and operation of a replacement system for a large-scale, financially focused, and mission-critical legacy system.

This system will be developed using the most advanced .NET technologies with C# and SQL and will be cloud-based using highly automated DevSecOps and Azure toolsets.

Following production, the project team will operate, support, and maintain the new system within Azure and will build pre-defined, technology aggressive enhancements over several years.

The client is in Southern California and most of the effort will performed in a virtual environment using agile methods. This is the ideal project for highly talented, experienced professionals seeking development challenges using state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and methods. To support this critical project, we are seeking Automation Test Engineers to develop software testing frameworks and carryout testing for a large, business-critical C# application in Azure using the Azure DevOps toolset and Katalon/Selenium.

Future duties and responsibilities• Creating and maintaining test automation frameworks using selenium with Java/C#• Analyze requirements or user stories in legacy applications and across systems to identify acceptance criteria and create test cases and scripts accordingly• Carrying out functional, regression, performance and API related testing tests for all features and fixes on a per-sprint basis• Creating CI pipelines to execute automated test cases using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins• Apply problem solving and analytical skills to characterize and diagnose complex issues• Participate in team meetings, planning, retrospectives, and design sessions to validate requirement and infuse testing needs• Carrying out manual testing if required• Perform other responsibilities as determined by the Test Manager

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related discipline• Hands on experience creating automation testing frameworks from project inception using Selenium with Java/C#• A minimum of 6 years of software automation testing experience. Advanced degrees will be considered as substitution for experience, if highly relevant.• Hands on experience working with Katalon tool.• Experience utilizing source code repositories such as Git• Hands on experience in creating CI/CD pipelines in Azure, Jenkins• Experience with agile software development practices, such as sprints and scrums, and testing best practices under agile development• Experience reporting and tracking defects and in using tracking tools such as Azure, Jira• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Knowledge of load testing tools such as JMeter is preferred• Knowledge of SQL and python is preferred

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $59K-$95K
