Test Engineer

Test Development Engineers at Renesas play a crucial role in the semiconductor industry, working closely with the engineering team to develop and implement innovative test solutions for cutting-edge products. These engineers collaborate with the applications team to shape device datasheets through in-depth characterization and product evaluation, ensuring that Renesas products meet the highest quality standards.Responsibilities:Participate in the entire new production introduction (NPI) process, including feasibility studies and design for test (DFT) strategies.Lead hardware design and device debugging efforts to ensure robust test solutions.Conduct temperature characterization and other critical evaluations to optimize device performance.Provide long-term support for offshore production, ensuring seamless operations.Ensure that all devices meet Renesas' high-quality standards before shipment.Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, yield, and reduce testing costs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any test-related challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
