Maxar is seeking a Test Engineer (technical, schedule and risk management) to support the USSF Space Systems Center Remote Sensing directorate in El Segundo, CA!

What will you be doing?
  • Provide test engineering support to USG customers.
  • Work with customers to improve their testing architecture and processes with the identification or design of processes and tools.
  • Responsible for articulating and capturing the testing architecture, test requirements, and testing approach.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute the program interoperability test and evaluation program. Develop and maintain Interoperability Certification Evaluation Plans in support of the Remote Sensing programs.
  • Identify interoperability requirements, create Interoperability Verification Plans (IVPs), correlate test events to the IVP, and create test plans and procedures during planning phase.
  • Monitor, and execute if required, test events, and perform data analysis on the test results during execution phase of test.
  • Support implementation of Lead Development Test and Evaluation Organization (LDTO) IAW Air Force Instruction (AFI) 99-103 to coordinate planning and implementation for applicable programs.
  • Plan, execute, and report on LDTO activities as directed by the Government. Support the LDTO role for a program's developmental test and evaluation activities.
  • Develop test report for any developmental test and evaluation events, to included Integrated and Combined Test (ICT) activities, that are performed for major capability deliveries and provide assessments and reports based on the test plans and procedures that were executed.
  • Organize, facilitate, participate, and provide technical leadership in Integrated Test Team (ITT) meetings, to include coordination with relevant Government services and agencies necessary for successful execution of independent Government developmental and integrated LDTO tests.
  • Develop, document, and manage program Test & Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) and System Test Plans (STVP).
  • Plan, execute, assess, and report on program inter-segment engineering test (IET) events and inter-segment system test (IST) events.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • US citizenship with a current/active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • 4 years experience. Supporting government developmental test and evaluation
  • 4 years experience working test, evaluation, and integration.
