Tig Welder

Description:2nd shift (3pm to 11:30pm), Tig welders needed for large aerospace company in Long Beach/Los Alamitos area. Training may be on 1st shift (6am to 2:30pm) with pay start at $31.28 +. $.75 shift differential. Overtime available as well.Will be working on One of a kind, and Prototype parts and equipment. Perform TIG Welding on thin-wall sheet metal. Exotic Metals. 95% of the metals they weld, are Inconnel & titanium. Will work directly with engineers to give feedback and suggestions. Must have at least 5 years of experience in TIG (Heliarc) welding. Will work with thin-wall (.015” - .060”), 1" to 6" diameter Inconnel and Titanium ducting/tubing. The ability to create x-ray and dye-penetrant quality welds is a must. Must re-certify on groups of stainless steel, inconnel and titanium as required by government, customer and company specifications. Able to understand and work directly from engineering drawings and specifications.
