The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional in the field of Transfer Pricing, a self-starter, a strategic and creative thinker, a great communicator who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, and comfortable working with a diverse set of talented and high-performing colleagues in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position is open to candidates in Santa Clara. This role reports to the Director, Global Transfer Pricing in Santa Clara, and will work directly with the Transfer Pricing and worldwide tax team. The International Tax team at PANW is a close-knit and dynamic group dedicated to establishing robust tax processes, frameworks, and systems that will drive the business forward during the upcoming phase of rapid expansion. Our primary objectives include establishing appropriate Transfer Pricing policies and procedures, evaluating avenues to achieve certainty, ensuring compliance across diverse geographical regions, meeting stringent reporting standards, and proactively preparing for audits to achieve our tax objectives. We take pride in our collaborative and enthusiastic approach, eagerly anticipating the exciting growth phase ahead, and are fully committed to supporting our business teams in every conceivable manner.Your ImpactAs a member of our Transfer Pricing team, you will work on Palo Alto Networks Transfer Pricing matters including:

Transfer Pricing Compliance and documentation - Manage global documentation, ensure timely filing of TP reports and disclosures, monitor regulatory deadlines

Financial Reporting - Review financial statements for TP analysis, oversee TP policy governance and execution

Restructuring - Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on TP projects, support M&A and restructuring activities

Company Growth - Aid global expansion, research local TP requirements, support new market entries and transaction designs

Innovations - Identify and solve TP issues, assess impact of new legislation, enhance processes with automated tools

Audit Support - Respond to external audits, prepare TP responses for tax audits, assist with APA filings and restructuring

Benchmarking - Establish benchmarking criteria, identify comparables for studies, conduct interviews and documentation

TP Policy Design and Implementation - Conduct in-depth technical research, understand business data, develop TP policies

Your Experience

A successful candidate is a well-organized, proactive, hands-on individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for innovative technology solutions - The ideal applicant will demonstrate the ability to independently manage multiple processes while effectively collaborating in a team setting - Solid experience in worldwide tax compliance, tax documentation, tax accounting, and inter-company transactions is essential

6+ years of Transfer Pricing experience, including in public accounting and in-house multinational company

Degree in Economics preferred, Accounting, Tax Law, PhD degree or equivalent military experience required

In-depth knowledge of international transfer pricing regulations, OECD guidelines, and tax laws in various jurisdictions, including OECD Pillar Two rules

Strong general tax knowledge and experience in US and international Transfer Pricing principles

Proficient with Excel, G Suite a plus, Alteryx / Access; understand SAP or another similar Familiarity with transfer pricing software and tools, as well as a willingness to embrace automation and digital solutions in transfer pricing processes

Self-starter with the ability to coordinate projects, work with minimal supervision, independent and critical thinking

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail

Team player capable of organizing and leading projects to completion

Effective interpersonal skills

Must be local to SF Bay Area, Who can be in office 3 days/week.

For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $115,400/yr to $186,800/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
