Two IHSS caregivers needed Weekday or Weekends

WEEKDAY IHSS CAREGIVER

Position: Weekday IHSS CaregiverSchedule: Monday–Friday, 26.5 hours/weekPay: $18 hr

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

∙ Must be able to perform full-lift transfers (97-year-old client)

∙ IHSS provider or willing to become one

∙ Reliable transportation

∙ Patient, compassionate, experienced with elderly care.

Must like dogs, she has two small ones

SCHEDULE:

Monday:8:30 AM – 2:00 PM (5.5 hours)

Tuesday:8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (5 hours)

Wednesday:8:30 AM – 2:00 PM (5.5 hours)

Thursday:8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (5 hours)

Friday:8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (5 hours)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

∙ Morning care routine (wake, toileting, dressing)

∙ Medication administration

∙ Blood pressure monitoring

∙ Breakfast preparation and assistance

∙ Lunch preparation and assistance

∙ Light housekeeping

∙ Companionship

∙ All lifting and transfers

IMPORTANT: Client is 97, blind, and afraid to be alone. Patience and kindness essential.

∙ Patient, compassionate, experienced with elderly care

SCHEDULE:

Saturday:8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (7 hours)

Sunday:8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (7 hours)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

∙ Morning care routine (wake, toileting, dressing)

∙ Medication administration

∙ Blood pressure monitoring

∙ Breakfast preparation and assistance

∙ Lunch preparation and assistance

∙ Early afternoon care

∙ Light housekeeping

∙ Companionship

∙ All lifting and transfers
