Neurosurgery at Dominican is also offered through a partnership with Stanford Health Care.ResponsibilitiesPOSITION SUMMARY:Under the general supervision of the MCH Leadership Team, provides non-clinical support for and facilitates the communication/coordination of services for the nursing unit with other departments, physicians, families and visitors as directed. Demonstrates awareness of the philosophy, purposes, policies and standards of the Division of Nursing Services and the Maternal-Child Health Units. Specifically demonstrates the Mission and Values of Dignity Health.QualificationsREQUIRED:
Current BLS Certification
Medical Terminology
Ability to accurately enter and retrieve computer data.
College level course for unit coordinators or equivalent combination of course work and experience.
Basic office Microsoft skills and applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to enter and retrieve computer data.
Type 45 wpm
PREFERRED:
One year clerical experience in a medical setting, preferably in an acute care facility; or equivalent nursing education/experience.
Knowledge of routine lab tests and radiology procedures.
Bilingual in English and Spanish
