The UX Designer will partner with the business and engineering teams to prioritize UX activities throughout the software development lifecycle and deliver high-quality experiences. We are looking for someone who can work within technical constraints and meet business requirements and usability goals. The UX Designer will support all aspects of design and production, focusing specifically on UX design.

What will you do?
  • Collaborates with UX analysts, project managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to prioritize UX activities throughout the software development life- cycle and deliver high-quality experiences
  • Assists IT engineers with understanding and incorporating technical, business, and user requirements into designs
  • Understands client goals, requirements, internal goals, usability, and technical constraints within budget and schedule
  • Supports all aspects of design and production, focusing specifically on UX design
  • Creates innovative and appealing designs on a rapid and iterative basis, through sketches, storyboards, user task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and the production of final assets for specific features and projects
  • Facilitates project teams through the design process, gathering actionable feedback and iterating the appropriate level of changes
  • Provides UX development support to development teams in both Agile and waterfall projects for responsive interfaces and presentation layer development support

What do you need?
  • Bachelors in computer science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or directly related work experience
  • 5+ years participating in user experience design/research using a variety of research methods.
  • 3+ years prototyping experience and demonstrated proficiency with designer tools such as Figma, Sketch, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to assist in creation and maintenance of style guides, design system library files and brand standards
  • Portfolio that demonstrates modern design practices, processes and applicable case studies
  • Working knowledge of design engineering practices e.g., design systems, XR technologies (HMDs, computer vision) tooling, processes, frameworks and/or libraries (Angular, React, Storybook)
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, 3D rendering/animation (Autodesk Maya, Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine)
