UX producer for

our direct client.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 9 Months.

Job Description
  • The User Experience team is looking for an experienced UX Producer to help scale operations for our Design Operations practice.
  • The goal of this role is to support team scalability and efficiency by establishing seamless workflows, processes, and procedures that will allow for team efficiency, partner alignment, and improved products over time.
  • As a UX producer, you are the oil that keeps the UX team engine running by improving design processes, tightening team communication, managing resources, and building relationships with internal and external partners.
  • You will support and evolve efficient processes and structure for projects within UX.
  • You are a strategic collaborator and will partner with the Design Managers to manage deadlines, eliminate roadblocks, and push the delivery of design projects over the finish line. You embrace complex problems.
  • You are a trusted partner, and an advocate for the UX team and the design process.
  • You will report to the Manager of Design Operations.
  • The ideal candidate has the organizational skills of a project manager, the pixel-perfect obsession of a designer, and the ability to communicate equally with designers and leadership teams.
  • You are people-centered, design-minded, and process-oriented.
  • The candidate brings previous experience working within a UX/design organization and a strong appreciation for design and planning.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Management of workflows, project plans, timelines, project management tools, and frameworks to successfully support project teams
  • Establishment of new workflows and implementation by ways that remove friction and allow scalability, productivity, and creativity across the product development lifecycle
  • Provide support of project management tools (SmartSheet, Clarity, Tableau, etc.)
  • Identification of gaps that need to increase efficiency and collaboration across team members and projects and develop plans of action
  • Preparation for design reviews with partners and leadership by driving agendas, goals, and presentation strategy
  • Contribution of successful practices, frameworks, tools, and lessons learned to the development of the design operations practice
  • Close collaboration with designers on project vision, strategy, and roadmaps
  • Evangelization and support of a unified and holistic user-centered design approach and design system

Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience supporting multiple projects in creative and/or product development teams
  • BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Science, Graphic Design, or Computer Science with an emphasis on UX/UI development, or equivalent work experience
  • Expert SmartSheet skills and proficiency of other project management tools
  • Passionate about organizational excellence and attention to detail
  • Strong skills in communication, analysis, relationship management, conflict resolution, time management, organization, and prioritization
  • Strong ability to build strong relationships across team members, practices and stakeholders
  • Well-versed in developing lightweight, repeatable processes, standards, and workflows
  • Experience in structuring and implementing initiatives at scale with design and product teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • The ability to operate independently
  • Handles ambiguity with ease, sets proactive goals, and effectively adapts them in a constantly evolving environment
