No 3rd PartiesDirect Hire: FTE OpportunityOnsite: Hybrid (2D/Week onsite)Location: San Diego, CACompensation: $129,000/00-$149,000.00 annualy Salary + Bonus No Sponsorship We are seeking a skilled UX Researcher & Customer Insights Manager to join our dynamic team. As part of our People Search division, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that connects, informs, and protects people both online and offline. This role reports to the SVP of Product for our company and offers a chance to lead our largest business unit to success.You will be responsible for conducting research and collecting data to help us better understand our customers' needs, preferences, and behaviors. Your duties will include designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research studies, analyzing data, and presenting insights to various stakeholders in the organization. You will also collaborate closely with the product and design teams to ensure that user needs are incorporated into design requirements. Responsibilities: Plan, design, and execute usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness and usability of products and features throughout the product development processConduct surveys, focus groups, and other research (qualitative and quantitative) as needed to support the larger product teamBuild user personas based on research findings to guide design decisions and product strategyPerform market research to identify trends and insights that could impact our product offeringsIdeate and test UX solutions to improve the user experience, customer satisfaction, and retentionAct as the go-to person for customer research needs and communicate research findings to stakeholdersWork with external vendors to execute research programsManage customer journey mapping to understand the end-to-end user experienceSupport end-to-end experience design with research, testing, and solutionsProactively identify areas for improvement in the customer experience and work with the product team to implement and test solutionsDevelop a strong understanding of consumer motivation and behaviors to inform research and design decisions Requirements: Bachelor's in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field3+ years of experience in user research, consumer insights, or related fieldsExperience planning, designing, and executing usability testing and other consumer research studies (surveying, focus groups, etc)Experience building user personas (and anti-personas) based on research findingsStrong understanding of consumer motivation and behaviorsExperience with subscription based consumer SAAS productsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExperience working in an Agile development environment is a plusComprehensive knowledge of modern UX best-practices (and the theoretical concepts that underpin them)Deep familiarity with the concept of human-centered designAn iterative mindset and commitment to engaging in continuous improvementFamiliarity with figma
