Title – Vmware EngineerFulltime Location – Oakland CA (Local to CA) / Position is mostly remote – would only need to come in once or twice per month (and any special meetings/events) Qualification Minimum:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience3+ Years in Cloud platform technologiesExperience working in Agile/ScrumExperience with VMware vSphere product suiteExperience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure (VxRail is strongly desired)Experience with containersVMWare Cloud Foundation certification, AWS Associate, or equivalent cloud platform certificationDesired:Strong IT infrastructure technical skills including VMWare SDDC Technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize, VMWare Cloud Foundation Solutions, etc)VMWare technology certificationsExperience with tooling to support monitoring, telemetry, logging, and reporting/ dashboarding and continuous deliverytechnologiesExperience with VMware NSX-V and NSX-TExperience with VMWare Cloud Foundation, VTSP, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), vSANExperience with SAN Storage and data protection solutions (RP4VM, Avamar, PowerProtect)Experience with RedHat LinuxExperience with configuration management and automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and TerraformKnowledge of Systems administration in OS platforms (Linux/Unix, Windows); understanding of networking fundamentalssuch as DNS, HTTP, TCP/IPKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies- ID: #49834013
