VP, Software Development and Architecture

Full-Time Remote Option Available

Responsibilities:
  • Direct the software development function including taking a leading role in architecture and big-picture oversight for planning and development of new or enhanced software products/services.
  • Develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures necessary to achieve software development goals. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize software development requirements including design, development, testing and documenting new products, enhancements, or fixes. Evaluate results within the team to determine if organizational objectives are being met. Analyze and resolve software development issues and needs in terms of the software's full life cycle.
  • Define the system, technical, and application architectures for major areas of development and recommend course of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness. Stay up-to-date on business initiatives and objectives, particularly as these relate to infrastructure and development architecture issues. Implement best practices frameworks/capability models that will control costs, provide higher quality, and/or increase predictability of service delivery.
  • Responsible for employee management and recognition.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Min 10 years software architecture and development experience
  • Min 5 years management experience
  • Payment/Tokenization Industry knowledge
  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Agile methodology
  • Web services (SOAP and REST APIs)
  • UI development
  • Strong security mindset
  • HSM knowledge
