Description Our reputable client is seeking an interim VP/Director of Finance to join the company.This contract opportunity will be providing financial leadership in managing budgets, overseeing all accounting functions, and conducting forecast analysis. In addition, as a member of the Executive Team, the VP/Director of Finance will participate in the strategic planning process and will maintain and report on key financial metrics.What you get to do every single dayOversee the monthly preparation of CFO/Board packages, provide comprehensive financial insights and support strategic decision-making.Collaborate with business leaders to manage the budget effectively, ensuring accountability and alignment with organizational objectives. Drive financial discipline across departments.Lead high-value Purchase Order (P.O.) discussions with C-level executives, contributing financial expertise to facilitate informed decision-making and optimize financial outcomes.Demonstrate solid communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to various stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, and cross-functional teams.Manage and mentor a team of 10+ finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide leadership, guidance, and development opportunities to team members.Manufacturing Industry experience is a must. Utilize industry-specific knowledge to drive financial strategies and navigate challenges unique to the sectorRequirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Proven experience in Corporate Finance, FP& A, and Sales Finance.Around 15-20 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and budget management.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for high-level discussions with C-level executives.Proven ability to collaborate with business leaders and drive financial accountability.Must be able to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment with excellent written and verbal skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
