Web Admin / UI/UX Developer to work with one of our direct clients in Los Angeles, CA.

Title: Web Admin / UI/UX Developer

Duration: 09 Months

Location: Los Angeles, CA

The Systems Analyst duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade the organization's website
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
  • Create appropriate website content aligned to the organization's strategy
  • Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans
  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization's standards
  • Create strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics
  • Create, upload and maintain websites content including imagery, files and text using a Drupal Content Management Framework
  • Maintain web front-end servers and some aspects of database servers
  • Deploy and administer CMS portals
  • Post documents and announcements on the website
  • Establish and maintain end-user access policy and permissions and delegate permissions authority where necessary
  • Participate in user interface design as needed.
  • Work with developers to create customized solutions including integrating third-party tools and/or custom code into CMS
  • Conduct research on emerging CMS development tools and strategies
  • Provide expertise and support to end-users and other members of the IT support team
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades
  • Edit basic web content using HTML, within a CMS
  • Ensure PDF files comply with ADA and WCAG 2.0 conformance standards and modify when needed
  • Prioritize requests from different teams and execute accordingly
  • Create user manuals

Skills and experience required:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience using Content Management Systems (Sitefinity is a plus)
  • Experience with HTML5 and CSS
  • Experience performing website maintenance
  • Posting and modifying web content
  • Knowledge of best practices for web creation
  • Understanding of general responsive design principles and solutions for the modern multi-platform web
  • Ability to recognize and report technical issues
  • Strong analysis, design and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks, and meet deadlines for delivering assigned tasks
  • Capable of adapting to changing situations and shifting priorities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills when interacting with all levels of management, customers, project team and staff
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with the project team and LADBS staff
  • Experience working respectfully in a culturally diverse work environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Systems/Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of Gather Content is a plus
  • Knowledge of Monsido is a plus
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite and Gmail
