Website/Web Developer (Hannon Hills Cascade platform)

DatamanUSA has an exciting opportunity for a Website/Web Developer (Hannon Hills Cascade platform) to work with one of our direct clients in Oakland, CA.

• Evaluate website designs.
• Meets with business users to understand the type of content (and how much) they intend to post on a template.
• Develops Cascade components using Velocity scripting.
• Troubleshoots scripting bugs.
• Updates templates and scripts based on the business user and/or designer feedback.
• Builds out the website from the templates and populates content on web pages.
• Applies technical expertise and business analysis concepts to identify, evaluate and define complex systems scope and objectives with an understanding of applicable business practices, processes, systems and industry standards to meet end-user needs.

• Thorough knowledge of business and process analysis functions with 3-5 years of experience in Velocity scripting.
• Solid understanding of markup languages used to create web pages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery.
• Experience working with Hannon Hills Cascade platform.
• Thorough knowledge of related areas of IT, including website development and UX design.
• Experience working within a team using Agile/iterative development processes for website development.
• Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a collaborative team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Demonstrates problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Interpersonal and communications skills to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds.
