Overview: Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Wireless Network Engineer. Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship Location: Los Angeles, CA 90024 Duration: 12 months contract w/ possibility of extension Notes: - Onsite role.
- Shift: 8:00am 5:00pm Pacific Time. Afterhours, during the cutover. If Afterhours are required, comp time will be provided the subsequent day.
- Interview Process: Round 1 - Zoom video meeting. Round 2 In person.
Description: - Provision wireless access points.
- Troubleshoot/fix wireless connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot/fix 802.1x authentication related issues.
- Troubleshoot problems with Guest Wi-Fi.
- Execute scheduled changes on Aruba OS 8.X platform.
- Execute scheduled changes on ClearPass policy manager.
- Fetch reports from Aruba Airwave and ClearPass Insight.
- Test bug-fixes in a lab environment.
- Analyze packet captures (wired and wireless).
Qualifications: - 3 years hands-on experience with supporting wireless controllers and Access Points.
- 3 years hands-on experience with supporting AAA protocols.
- 3 years experience with network operations.
- 3 years working experience with Cisco switches.
- Preferred Certifications: CCNP, ACMP, CWNA.
