The ideal candidate will have 5 + years of relevant work experience in a brief description of job. The successful candidate will possess knowledge and experience in the following:

5+ years hands on network engineering with Implementations or Operations experience with emphasis on enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure
Current CCNA level of certification or equivalent
Hands on Layer 3 routing experience required.
Hands on Layer 2 switching experience required.
TCP/IP stack, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols experience required.
Cisco IP Telephony skills highly desired
Knowledge of QoS, MPLS, VoIP and Wireless LAN are required.
Experience with Cisco IOS XE/NXOS configuration and troubleshooting is a must.
Experience with Cisco and wireless is a must.
Perform L1 rack/stack/patch include determine patch cables necessary for projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve L1 patching issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve tickets for SFP, network card, network chassis, etc…
Perform effort on-site at the client campus in RTP, North Carolina
Submit change management requests for network upgrades in ServiceNow.
Plan for technology upgrades to include identify refresh HW from standard list, request ordering of HW, configuring HW, deploying HW, and turn-in hardware for disposal.
Familiar with submitting change management.
5 years plus configuring Aruba wireless .
Significant understanding of Aruba wireless networking
Familiar with wi-fi wireless networking
Frequent travel both internationally and nationally.

Skill setTCP/IP stack, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP routing protocols; Cisco IP Telephony skills; QoS, MPLS, VoIP and Wireless LAN; Cisco IOS XE/NXOS configuration and troubleshooting; Cisco and wireless. L1 rack/stack/patch/troubleshooting experience.Ekahau, Python scripting for network automation a plus.
