Workers Compensation Paralegal

Cardona Law Firm is a small but growing Personal Injury & Workers’ Compensation Law Firm located in downtown Santa Ana.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Workers’ Compensation team.

The ideal candidate will:

- Have two or more years of experience

- Be bilingual in Spanish and English

- Have experience with new client intake

- Send out letters of representation

- File applications with the DWC

- Send out 4600 letters

- Set up doctor’s appointments for clients

- Manage the calendar for hearings and depositions

- Prepare and send out Notices of Deposition

- Prepare and send out advocacy letters

- Issue subpoenas

- Prepare settlement demand letters

- Knowledge of rating is a plus

- Maintain case files and ensure deadlines are met

- Have strong organizational, multitasking, and case management skills

- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Be able to work independently and meet deadlines
