The training we provide is State and Federally required and adheres to the California State Board of Registered Nursing and Behavioral Sciences certification.

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and passionate trainers to join our team and deliver Workplace Violence Prevention training to healthcare workers across Southern California. As a trainer, you will play a crucial role in equipping healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to recognize, de-escalate, and respond to potentially violent situations in their workplaces. This is an immediate position to start in July 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct engaging and informative training sessions on Workplace Violence Prevention for healthcare workers.

- Utilize provided training materials and customize content to meet the specific needs of different healthcare settings.

- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

- Provide practical strategies and techniques to healthcare workers to enhance their safety and security.

- Assess the effectiveness of training sessions and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and industry standards in workplace violence prevention.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in training, teaching, or public speaking is helpful.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to engage and motivate participants.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to travel to various locations within Southern California.

- Healthcare experience or familiarity with the healthcare industry is required.

- Experience in behavioral health and/or emergency departments a strong plus.

- High school graduate required and at least some college helpful but not required.

Requirements:

- Must be located in Southern California.

- Must have reliable transportation with your own auto insurance.

- Flexible schedule to accommodate training sessions during various times of the day, multiple days during the week.

- Must be dependable and not cancel once scheduled. Trainings are required by law for the employees to be taught and very difficult for the healthcare facilities to re-schedule.

- Must be able to work as an independent contractor (1099 position).

- Must be available for a free five-day training session before starting.

- Must be able to start immediately.

Compensation:

- Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.

- Reimbursement for travel expenses.
