Yard Security/ Gate Attendant

Pay: Minimum Wage

Hours: 6am-4pm

preferably speaks both English and Spanish

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and attentive Yard Security / Gate Attendant to manage access at our trucking yard. This role is critical to maintaining safety, organization, and smooth coordination of driver pickups and drop-offs.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access at the front gate of the yard

Check in and check out drivers entering the facility

Communicate with the yard and operations team to coordinate pickups and releases

Maintain a log of drivers, equipment, and visit times

Observe yard activity and report any suspicious or unsafe behavior

Enforce basic yard rules and safety procedures

Assist with general yard coordination as needed

Requirements:

Reliable and punctual

Strong communication skills

Ability to stay alert and focused for long periods

Comfortable working independently

Basic phone or radio communication skills

Prior security or yard experience is a plus, but not required
