ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assignedResponsible for the general operation and a basic maintenance of palletizing machine
Constant repetition of stacking boxes weighing 45-90 pounds on pallets which are segregated by product code
Assists with rework by either repairing the cases or identifying cases for return.
Keep work area clean by performing daily walks of Alvey Palletizing Room
Must be able to stand in Cold Area for prolonged time periods
Must know basic data entry on computer. And will be trained on Invar/IWS system
EXPECTATIONS – all Team MembersObserve & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with Team mates, Leads, and all Management.
Participates in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking, as well as be very mobile. This position requires quick thinking as well as safely maneuvering through tight areas.
Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. As well as following L.O.T.O. (Lock Out/Tag Out)
This position generally works 7 days a week, but will be cycled for Sundays off, as planned with Management!EOE/VETS/DISABLED
