Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Denver, Colorado. The role primarily involves the implementation, integration, and management of Sage Intacct financial management system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations. The staff accountant will play a pivotal role in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives. Responsibilities: Manage the implementation and integration of Sage Intacct accounting software across the company. Monitor and maintain the financial health of all project financials, including managing project budget and actual expenses. Ensure proper configuration and setup per project within Sage Intacct system. Coordinate with the technical team and assist in troubleshooting any software related issues. Train and mentor staff and new hires on the Sage Intacct system and all its components. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports. Work closely with the audit team and assist in providing documentation for the annual audit. Ensure that all financial regulatory requirements are met. Perform other projects and duties as assigned by senior-level management. Use skills such as Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Budget Processes. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary Prior experience with ADP - Financial Services is required Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must Familiarity with ERP Solutions is crucial Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is desirable Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is essential Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Auditing is a plus Proficiency in Budget Processes is expected Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
