Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Denver, Colorado. The role involves overseeing all aspects of daily office operations, including the handling of accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, and bookkeeping using QuickBooks. The position also requires a weekly visit to the office for processing mail and checks.Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Handle all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping using QuickBooks. Coordinate and process incoming and outgoing mail and checks during weekly office visits. Maintain office supplies and ensure the office environment is organized and efficient. Assist with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing company events. Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, clients, and employees. Oversee office budgets, expenses, and financial reports. Implement and maintain office policies and procedures. Support HR functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting or financial role. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing. Proficient in Data Entry with keen attention to detail. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with Oracle financial management system. Experience with QuickBooks for accounting and payroll tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity. Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
