Description Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Retail field. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of a company in the Retail industry. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Denver, Colorado area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. In this progressive department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.Responsibilities
Provide support during internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Operate full-cycle A/P
Execute additional tasks as needed
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks Requirements - Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
NetSuite experience required
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Deep understanding of numeric data entry
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
