Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Centennial, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes, performing complex reconciliations, and ensuring accurate data entry. This role is within the construction industry and requires proficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel.Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable functions and ensure accurate data entry Execute complex reconciliation tasks on a daily basis Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel to maintain and update financial records Process check requests and manage check processing tasks Resolve discrepancies in financial records and accounts Utilize Viewpoint Vista to manage and update financial data Ensure adherence to accounting functions and regulatory standards Proficiently use IBM AS/400 and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for various accounting tasks Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) for managing and updating accounts payable data. Requirements Possess a minimum of three years' experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role. Proficient in Accounting Software Systems. Demonstrated expertise in Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with standard Accounting Functions. Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Check Processing. Data Entry skills with a keen eye for Discrepancy. Knowledge of Viewpoint Vista software. Ability to manage Daily Reconciliation tasks.
