Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager for a nonprofit client our ours in DENVER, Colorado. In this role, you will manage the accounts receivable process, focusing on timely collection, compliance with contract requirements, and oversight of revenue streams.Responsibilities: Oversee the accounts receivable process, including billing, invoicing, and collection of payments. Collaborate with program and finance teams to ensure financial reporting, invoicing, and revenue recognition adhere to contract terms and organizational policies. Monitor AR aging reports and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve outstanding receivables. Develop strategies to improve cash flow and reduce the collection time of receivables. Ensure accurate recording of incoming payments and maintain up-to-date records in the accounting system. Collaborate with program and development teams to review grants and contracts for financial terms and reporting requirements. Prepare and submit financial reports to funders in accordance with grant/contract requirements. Assist with grant and contract audits and respond to auditor inquiries. Track and monitor restricted funds to ensure proper allocation and spending in compliance with grant and contract terms. Perform detailed reviews of grants and contracts to ensure compliance with federal, state, and donor regulations. Coordinate with external auditors and funders to facilitate financial audits and resolve compliance issues. Liaise with program managers, funders, and other stakeholders to resolve any financial discrepancies related to grants and contracts Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the field of accounts receivable Demonstrated proficiency in accounting functions, specifically with regard to accounts receivable processes Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create, manage, and analyze complex spreadsheets Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for liaising with various departments and reporting to senior management Ability to lead a team and manage workloads to ensure deadlines are met Proven track record in improving processes and enhancing efficiency within the accounts receivable department Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate financial reporting Familiarity with accounting software and systems is advantageous Solid understanding of financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
