Job Summary

Under The Epic client systems administrator role is to manage all levels of the Epic environment related to the Windows environment. In addition, the purpose of this role is to ensure the consistent and stable environment of Epic is maintained, supported and managed so that all end users are able to run the Hyperspace application.

Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or Bachelor's Degree in equivalent technical field. Without a technical degree, 4 years of technical experience in server management with at least 1 year experience in a team lead or supervisory role. Experience: Typically, three years of technical experience providing server support and management. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Demonstrate ability to manage support Windows, VMWare and XenServer platforms. Ability to support and understand all aspects of the Epic client systems arena. Working knowledge of the desktop operating system (Windows 7). Working knowledge of terminal services technology for organizations using Windows Terminal Services or Citrix XenApp. A strong familiarity with deploying applications to remote workstations using third-party software distribution tools such as SMS, SCCM, thin client, or login scripts Epic certification required. If not pre-certified, then certification required one year post hire date. ECSA certification preferred. All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
