They will lead the social, influencer and run club strategy and vision and oversee and integrate athletes and events. They will work closely with the creative team and outside partners to drive growth and brand awareness across a diverse community. This role reports to the marketing director.Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

Be at the forefront of culture and social trends to be able to attract the consumer of the future and build a relevant brand

Set the strategy and point of view for building the brand’s community across social, influencers and run clubs + lead our athlete and events manager in finding ways to integrate across all channels

Lead a team to execute and bring the brand to life in a consistent way across our community channels

Build out the organic social content calendar based on our content pillars + brand and product marketing calendars

Write a monthly organic social sprint brief and one-off briefs for the creative team that inspires them and content creators

Be the expert of our social listening and scheduling platform – Sprinklr

Build out our social guidelines for a consistent look and feel across our platforms

Source influencers and ambassadors for the brand, brief them with content ideas and ensure contracts and payments are set up with the support of our production manager and events and social coordinator

Leverage your channels to gather consumer insights that can drive new ideas and actions

Work with the marketing director and creative team to ideate new ways to activate the consumer of the future that is in line with our brand vision

Develop the vision and strategy for how to activate within run culture locally and then work cross functionally with the retail team to ensure integration and execution

Drive the strategy, thinking and ideas for how to activate at any of our in real life events and with our athletes to drive brand recognition and love

What do you need to succeed?We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 8-10+ years of experience and professional achievements.A successful candidate will need to have an understanding and passion for run culture and social media. They will also be a strong charismatic leader with a clear vision for how to drive a team to action and results across multiple channels. They will need to be consumer-first-minded and be able to drive connection and community with new thinking and ideas across a diverse group of people.The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

Expert in social media

Experience in building communities across influencers and ambassadors, social media, run clubs and events and athlete communities

Consumer-first-minded and be able to drive connection and community with new thinking and ideas across a diverse group of people.

Ability to write strategy, lead a team to execute and then report on results and insights

Team leadership and ability to drive towards actions and results

Ability to write briefs and collaborate with a creative team

Understanding of storytelling and what makes engaging content

Ability to organize and prioritize multiple goals and projects under tight deadlines

Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management

Ability to develop and lead complex projects involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders

Flexible and adaptable with a can do attitude

Location requirement: The ideal candidate will reside within the Denver area as we are required to be in the downtown Denver office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
