Job Summary

Under general supervision, provides implementation and break/fix support of the organization's desktop computing environment. Provides support to end users on a variety of technical or training issues, with a focus on customer service and improving the customer experience. Installs PC software, printers and various peripherals. Answers users' questions regarding desktop and software use. Provides department level analysis for computing needs and makes recommendations/requests. Responds to users' needs and documents actions via the Help Desk ticketing system.

Experience1.Four-years' experience working in an area of PC support required.2.Experience with Microsoft software products required.3.Help Desk experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities1.Knowledge in areas of both hardware and software required.2.Knowledge of Microsoft software products required, MS Office Suite, Windows operating systems and NT.3.Knowledge of networking essentials and TCP/IP.4.Knowledge of PC components and their respective interface requirements.5.Technical and troubleshooting skills.6.Good communication and customer service skills.7.Ability to serve as a team lead on critical projects providing direction and support to other project team members.8.Ability to perform problem determination and resolution.9.Ability to ensure all equipment is optimized for maximum performance.10.Ability to translate technical jargon to a non-technical audience.Computers and Technology1.MS Office Suite required.2.Windows 10 and O365 required.

Education

• Associate's Degree (Required) Associate degree Technical Information Systems or similar degree with an emphasis in desktop computing and software analysis required.
