Description: Job Title – Associate Manager, Field EngineeringJob Location- Denver Colorado AreaJob Code: CS20230802-96821 Job Description:This Associate Manager of Field Services will support L3Harris Public Safety and Professional Communications customers and employees in Colorado, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Arizona, and travel 30% of the time to service centers and customer locations.This position requires managing employees, visiting customers, and partners throughout the region, is essentially a business services manager responsible for managing Public Safety, and Utility customer service and support activities. Wide ranging business services development manager responsibilities include but not limited to; oversight of installation & programming, contract negotiation and warranty support, proposal management, growing the services business with preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, product and services value positioning, and oversight of infrastructure and subscriber equipment. Candidate will:Be able to employ their understanding of field service management, system engineering, project management, and customer facing skills for Mission Critical Radio system operation and strategy planning.

Deliver quality service level agreement (SLA) compliance and create key performance indicator (KPI) support statistics.

Responsible for two key customers in Colorado as a field service technical support to service our maintenance contracts

Responsible for budget (P&L), schedule and financial reporting.

Responsible for explaining, interpreting, and driving adherence to policies (time card, vacation, ticketing system, fleet vehicles etc.), practices, and processes to others within the organization.

Supervise employees and scheduled their work in conjunction with maintenance, warranty, and projects.

Manage subcontractors to ensure obligations and high standards of workmanship are met and career development tracks are supported and partnered with employees.

Manage existing two-way radio maintenance contracts in accordance with signed agreements.

Interface and conduct at a minimum quarterly business and maintenance reviews with the customers staff to resolve issues and propose business solutions.

Work closely with L3Harris Authorized Service Centers (ASCs) and Regional Centers of Excellence (RCEs) providers to maintained highest level of customer satisfaction.

Develop demand services quotes in response to Request for Information (RFI) or Requests for Proposal (RFP) as required.

Review and approve vendor and 3rd party invoices.

Oversee contract negotiation and approve customer invoicing.

On-call in a managerial role and technical role to provide support and problem escalation role between field technicians, Technical Assistance Center (TAC), customers, and L3Harris factory/engineering organizations

Electronics or electronic communication field – Land Mobile Radio (LMR), APCO P25, Digital Simulcast Trunked Radio, and TCOM.

Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
