Olsson’s planning team helps communities create a desirable sense of place by defining a vision and creating a plan to achieve that vision. Planning services include: comprehensive planning, current planning, housing/neighborhood development, economic development, sustainability, historic prevention, transportation, and urban planning. As an Associate Planner, you will perform project management duties for small-sized projects, meet a client’s needs from project conception to completion, track project budgets, and may supervise staff. You are passionate about: Working collaboratively with others Having ownership in the work you do Using your talents to positively affect communities You bring to the team: Strong communication skills Ability to contribute and work well on a team Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, architecture, public policy or related field Must have 3 or more years of experience in planning May be a certified planner (AICP) Olsson is a nationally recognized, employee-owned firm specializing in planning and design, engineering, field services, environmental, and technology.
