Architect, Design & Implementation of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) on AWS.

Identify & define technical requirements to build new AWS based application as well as migrate on-prem applications to the cloud leveraging cloud native services.

Highly skilled using Terraform to deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) for AWS resources.

Deploying and provisioning in an production environment AWS resources including IaaS: EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, ELB, IAM, Security Groups, Cloud Watch, VPC, Route53, Subnets, Routing Tables, Internet Gateways, certificates, autoscaling groups, PaaS services: EKS, ECR, ECS, Fargate, Code Deploy, Code Commit, and other SaaS services.

Evaluate Cloud Application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning in AWS.

Design a hybrid architecture using key AWS technologies such as the Virtual Private Network (VPN), Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect (DX).

Architect a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process using Jenkins and GitHub source code management.

Work with and mentor a team of highly skilled cloud engineers in building a state-of-the-art cloud environment that has the ability to scale and grow.

Must have experience in a client-facing environment and interacting with technical and business stakeholders.

What You Will Need :

BA/BS Degree with 15+ years of IT experience. Degree can be substituted with additional 4 years of experience.

Significant years of hands-on experience delivering solutions running in an enterprise cloud

Experience architecting and designing container frameworks including EKS and ECS with Fargate.

Experience working with microservices or data processing workloads with tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.

Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, and high availability.

Strong hand-on experience with writing Terraform code to deploy AWS resources including the creation and use of Terraform modules.

The candidate must be a certified AWS Solution Architect-Professional and have a Master skillset deploying and configuring AWS services using code.

The candidate must have six or more years of hands-on experience designing & deploying cloud architecture on AWS in an enterprise environment.

The candidate must have familiarity with AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), CloudFormation (CF) & Terraform templates, Windows & Linux environments, and the AWS Billing & Management Consoles.

Scripting Skills using Python, Bash

Experience configuring and deploying multiple SaaS services

Experience working with AWS Organizations and Control Tower

Must be able to work EST core hours 8:00 AM ET – 5:00 PM ET, M-F

What Would Be Nice To Have :

Experience using Ansible for automation is a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $154,700.00-$231,900.00.
