Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are seeking a Brand Manager to join our team at Pilgrim’s! The Brand Manager would have full ownership and responsibility for building two exciting brand platforms in a highly entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities:

Ambitious self-starter with a can-do attitude., who loves to work in a fast paced environment.

Develops long-term brand strategy and annual plans. Comfortable presenting to senior management.

Analyzes Food Service market and evolving consumer trends; recommending changes to marketing and product strategies based on marketplace analysis and feedback from sales and operators

Manages communication agencies from brief to execution.

Drives a fully integrated marketing campaign across a wide array of tactics on both national and account specific levels.

Partners with Insights to lead consumer research on consumer targeting, marketing, product optimization, product development and brand-building initiatives.

Tracks performance and KPI’s, adjusting plans as needed.

Responsible for budget and forecasting.

Cultivates knowledge of Distributors, Commercial, Operators and non-commercial channels

Attends and presents at key Sales meetings and external customer meetings.

Identifies and builds alignment around opportunities for new and improved product based on consumer insights or category developments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in Marketing or closely related field and 5+ years of related experience and/or training; required. MBA in Marketing, or related field, preferred.

4 or more years of consumer marketing experience with a CPG company in food service, preferred.

Experience leading and overseeing a budget for a brand and/or portfolio of brands and communicating budget updates in a cross-functional environment.

Experience working with syndicated data and guiding others in how to utilize it to develop fact-based presentations.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, required.

Understanding of brand management disciplines, key marketing strategies, media and selling dynamics.

Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills required.

Ability to prioritize projects and produce high quality and quantity outputs that adds value to the company.

Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

Base salary range of $120,000 - $130,000; and

Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
