Construction Materials Technician

Construction Materials TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking entry-level and mid-level Construction Materials Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will test concrete for slump, density, and moisture in the lab. You will receive in-house training from our experienced employees. Your responsibilities will include communicating with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, contractor representatives, and others about the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements and results. You will also transport material samples with associated identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis. You will tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports for daily transmittal to the Project Manager. Additionally, you will maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas, and may assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites. Adherence to strict safety standards and providing clear documentation of findings and results is essential. This position will place you in a progressively increased role of training and responsibility in work assignments.Hard Skills

Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in either Denver, CO or Colorado Springs, Colorado.Work EnvironmentThis is an on-site, full-time position ranging from 8-12 hours a day. Work hours are not guaranteed to be 40 hours per week due to weather conditions.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
