Feed Ingredient Contract Specialist Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Feed Ingredient Contract Specialist to join our Pilgrim’s team onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Greeley, CO. This person will be responsible for timely and accurate execution of feed ingredient purchase orders, including needed coordination with merchandisers, feed mill clerks, vendor management, and accounts payable personnel. Other responsibilities include monitoring aging good standing of grain dealer licenses, and participation in projects and process improvement. Responsibilities:
Manage and create purchase orders in SAP
Collect and enter bill of ladings (BOLs) from counterparties
Maintain master list of purchase orders in excel for shared files between logistics coordinator and trader
Support merchandisers with:
Reports of open contract balances
Distribution and collection of contract confirmations
Assistance in correction of payment discrepancies
Participate in projects that drive process efficiency
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED, College degree preferred
Ability to work well within Trade team
Requires computer aptitude for database management (SAP), general word processing, and spreadsheet programs
SAP experience preferred
General knowledge of accounting process and ability to reconcile information
Must maintain a high level of accuracy
Strong work ethic – self-motivated and driven
Ability to map and communicate multi-step processes
Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations . The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :
Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
401(k) : company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
Base salary range of $55,000-$60,000 ; and
Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
