Description We are in search of a Credit & Collections Professional to join our team based in Burlingame, California. This role plays a vital part in our company's operations by managing credit and collection activities for our customer accounts receivable portfolio. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of credit applications and payments, maintaining customer records, and resolving any customer-related inquiries. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. HYBRID ROLEResponsibilities: Process and manage credit applications, and recommend appropriate credit limits Conduct diligent review of sales orders on credit hold for approval Execute accurate account reconciliation for accounts receivable Manage customer disputes effectively to achieve positive outcomes for the company and the customer Monitor monthly auto-pay activity and process credit card transactions Keep an accurate log of all customer contacts and collection activities in the collection software system Make informed recommendations on monthly bad debt reserves Participate in acquisition and integration activities, preparing briefs on integrating systems, accounts, clients, policies, etc. of acquired companies Produce reports as requested by internal customers Utilize customer service and sales skills to maximize sales and positively impact cash flow Manage risk by creatively driving win/win situations between the company and customers Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, Oracle, and other office functions effectively to perform tasks Use Spanish Language skills where necessary to communicate with customers Implement time management and change management strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.Requirements Demonstrated experience in Credit & Collections role Proficiency in customer service and sales Familiar with office functions and documentation procedures Understanding of policy creation and implementation Experience with invoice and cash activity management Ability to review and manage email correspondence Knowledge of collection processes and credit management Experience with account reconciliation and financial notes Proficiency in Oracle and integration processes Spanish language skills are a plus Excellent time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites Ability to resolve issues effectively Experience with customer account management Knowledge of change management processes Ability to conduct cash flow analysis Experience in dispute resolution and placement Must not include any discriminatory language or practices in daily operations.
