We give you a world of potential We are currently searching for a permanent full-time Data Solutions Architect to join our Computershare Corporate Trust (CCT) team. A role you will love As a Data Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for an assigned portfolio of applications and the associated business-technology strategies related to data. You will also be responsible for defining and communicating a shared data architectural vision. You will assist business and Product Owners on technical aspects of product design and help drive execution in collaboration with the CCT CIO Engineering organization. You Work closely with the business to understand and translate their data requirements into Conceptual and Logical data models, for projects of medium to high complexity and moderate to high risk.

Other Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent data architecture for the CCT CIO organization and participate in enterprise architecture activity
  • Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy
  • Review and research complex technology and system assessments for component architecture
  • Support implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives
  • Produce project architecture designs
  • Evaluate the potential for a common canonical data model for CTS
  • Develop a future vision, strategy, and roadmap for
  • Replicated CCT data in operational data stores and native platform-based tools
  • Contribute to all product and service Agile team's roadmaps for non-functional data related epics/stories to advance the overall CCT data strategy
  • Experienced in applying Data Architecture in Agile environments similar to
  • Ensure data designs for applications adhere to established standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices
  • Understand data compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and capabilities in order to prepare and respond to customer needs and expectations
  • Provide in-depth technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture
  • Drive modernization of the data movement and processing capabilities of the organization
What will you bring to the role?
  • Bachelor Degree in a related field (Ie. Computer Science).
  • Minimum of 7+ years of Enterprise Data Systems Architecture experienced normalizing data across a business line and systems.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience implementing data-oriented solutions to include Data Warehousing, Big Data, ETL etc. and designing and implementing large scale data processing environments.
  • Experienced developing, implementing support data architecture methodologies, standards, and tools for data management, such as metadata management (MDM), OLTP and OLAP data modeling, data cleansing, data transformation and matching, data stewardship, data quality, data integration, and data security.
  • Experience with data modelling, data movement, ETL technologies/tools and integrating with third party solutions.
  • Experience using data modeling tools (e.g. ERWin, ER/Studio) maintaining physical and logical models. Ability to recommend data tools, data approaches and methodologies.
  • Work with Business and Technology partners to define enterprise road map of data and its integration across systems.
  • Able to build proof of concept/best of breed system integration patterns that can be used by a variety of implementation teams.
  • Strong relational database experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Unstructured data experience (document management platforms or raw file based).
  • Experience and training in Cloud, Data, DevSecOps, and Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF). fundamentals would be considered an asset with a focus on data.
