Position Overview Desktop Engineer (Day 1 onsite - TX/CO) Requirements: Job Description:
- EUC/Workplace Services engineer at the office, onsite.
- 5-day work week.
- Support employees and contractors on the floor with company issues devices and peripherals.
- Deskside support where needed and be the face of IT.
- Break fix for laptops inclusive of shell swap, RAM upgrade, battery replacement etc.
- Full time office role during business hours (8 am to 5 pm).
- Coordinate with larger team of EUC engineers, Service Desk, Collaboration Support team and others.
- Physical depot management of inventory like laptops, tablets, peripherals and spares.
- Periodic (weekly/daily) survey of AV rooms and level 1 troubleshooting.
- Excellent team player while being self-driven to take ownership of issues.
- Ability to work on complex timeboxed assignments like device refresh or OS upgrades.
- EUC/Workplace Services engineer.
- Able to troubleshoot hardware/software issues with laptops and tablets ((battery replacement, shell swap, software installation, OS crash repair, monthly Win 10 patching etc.).
- Very good knowledge of AD & Windows 10.
- OS Imaging knowledge.
- Deskside and white glove support experience.
- Excellent communication skills (both written & spoken).
- Inventory and Asset management.
- ServiceNow Ticket management.
- Experience in application packaging.
- Knowledge of Intune would be a big plus (Autopilot, Company Portal, policy/patch scheduling).
- Experience in supporting Audio Video conference room support will be a plus.
