Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a

Desktop Imaging Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid position which will require some remote and some on-site work. To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed; meet the education and work experience required; and must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Other duties, in addition to the below, may be assigned as necessary to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop SBA's OCIO enterprise Gold Image for imaging of all End User laptops.
  • Sustain the latest image version which includes image definition, development, testing, and management.
  • Collaborate and work with the patch management team in deployment of image and laptop patches.
  • Identifies, investigates, and proposes resolutions to issues that impact laptops at the image level.
  • Develop and maintain packages and scripts to automate deployments, solve complex problems and improve end user experience.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity and the Operations teams for integration, implementation, and compliance of image requirements pertaining to each Division.

Qualifications:
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in desktop support and configuration
  • Strong skills with the installation, setup, repair, and patching of computers and related peripherals
  • Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • General knowledge of network hardware (switches, routers, UPS) and network fundamentals (TCP/IP)
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
