Cloud Services Engineering team develops and maintains the SaaS platform and services that power the company as a Service (aaS) initiatives to deliver value for our customers. Our Development teams are independent with full-stack skillsets and own the entire process of developing, qualifying and deploying their microservices and micro-front ends to the GreenLake Cloud.

We are seeking DevOps Evangelist with a strong background in Software Development and Architecture, to drive SRE initiatives and culture across our organization. This includes working with our worldwide Development teams to ensure delivery of reliable and resilient services for our customers. The ideal candidate will have vast Cloud development experience with successful deployment of public microservices on a large scale - someone with authority and a passion for improving the entire deployment, monitoring and maintenance phase of microservices.

How you ll make your mark:

  • Successful Development and Deployment of public containerized microservices on a large scale in a cloud infrastructure

  • Experience with the adoption of robust, scalable monitoring solutions, using Prometheus, Grafana or similar tooling

  • Experience with automated CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Deployment) tools and processes such as CircleCI, GitOps, or similar.

  • Experience defining and managing infrastructure with code Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or similar.

  • Understanding of Container Orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.

  • Successful track record of improving quality or DevOps processes across multiple teams, using metrics, coaching, training, etc.

  • Experience working with teams across multiple geographies.

  • 10+ years experience including 5 years of Cloud-based Software Development.

  • Direct experience, developing and managing Kubernetes services.

  • Experience developing with one or more languages such as Java, React, Golang, Python, NodeJS, etc.

  • Experience with microservice architecture, REST, API s, gRPC.

  • Bachelor or Masters' degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
