Diesel Mechanic

JOB DETAILS:

M - F 5:00AM - 3:00PM with a rotating half day Saturday shift. Averaging 5-10 hours of overtime each week.

At least 3 years of experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment.

Have your own set of tools.

Be able to perform a variety of duties associated with heavy-duty class 8 trucks, including TIRES.

Electrical and computer diagnostics.

Perform routine services.

Sufficient knowledge of brake systems, air systems, steering systems, suspension, electrical systems, drive-train components, and hydraulic systems.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fleet trucks and trailers.

Ensure DOT compliance on all vehicles.

Must be professional, dependable, hardworking, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised.

Must have a valid driver's license, this position involves driving company vehicles.

Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to move and park tractor-trailers a plus.

Pay is negotiated based on experience.
